Please contact us to gain access to courses in which you were previously enrolled on our old training website (prior to November 2011). Note that grades won't be transferred, however we have an official record of your existing grades and you will not need to repeat the work.
There is no charge for existing students to transfer to the same course on the new website.

Assuming you already possess a white card, the four courses that need to be completed to work on the roads are:
Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM)
RIIOHS302A – Implement Traffic Management Plan
This is a nationally recognized unit and has no expiry date. The Basic Worksite Traffic Management needs to be renewed each 3 years.
Main Roads WA Worksite Traffic Controller (WTC)
RIIOHS205A – Control Traffic with a Stop/Slow Bat
This is a nationally recognized unit and has no expiry date. The Worksite Traffic Controller needs to be renewed each 3 years.
It is also necessary to have (or have held) a Driver's License for at least 12 months in the previous 5 years.
Proper management of traffic on a worksite is essential for the safety of workers and the motoring public.
Anyone undertaking road works shall first ensure that traffic will be assured of a safe and efficient passage past, around or through the site; and that all workers on the site will be able to carry out their duties safely.
This course deals with the purpose, aims, and basic rules of traffic management, the types of signs and devices used, and the practical requirements for their use.
Students must complete RIIOHS302A 'Implement Traffic Management Plan' after completing the requirements for this course in order to gain accreditation in MRWA Basic Worksite Traffic Management.

The course in RIIOHS302A ‘Implement Traffic Management Plan’ is an essential pre-requisite for anyone who will be involved in the control and management of traffic as a part of their normal duties.
For West Australian students the course should be completed in conjunction with our MRWA Basic Worksite Traffic Management course to gain accreditation.

This course incorporates RIICWD503A ‘Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan’ and RIIRIS402A ‘Carry out the risk management processes'. The course accredits candidates to prepare high-risk (complex) traffic management plans in Western Australia including those in accordance with and up to the planning level specified in Clause 2.2.1 (c) of AS 1742 part 3 – 2009.

Incorporates CPCCOHS 1001A ‘Work safely in the construction industry’ (White Card) and is designed for any person working in the building and construction industry. It is a mandatory requirement to work in any building and construction industry workplace in Australia.
